Senior People Partner (Health North)
Fixed Term Contract – 24 Months
Competitive salary with bonus, private medical insurance, car/car allowance and pension up to 6%
Location: Scotland / North England - covering the following sites:
Forth Valley Royal Hospital

Shape the Future of People & Culture in Health
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior People Partner to join our Health Business Unit on a two-year fixed term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming how People & Culture delivers value across our Health operations. Working closely with operational leaders, contract directors and our teams within People & Culture such as our specialist centres of expertise, you will drive strategic workforce initiatives that build organisational capability, strengthen leadership and improve business performance.
You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping them navigate change, develop talent, improve workforce productivity and create a high-performing, engaged workforce.
What you'll be doing
Partnering with senior business leaders to deliver strategic people solutions aligned to business objectives.
Leading the development and delivery through Leadership teams of workforce productivity and workforce planning strategies.
Driving talent, succession and leadership development initiatives to ensure strong pipelines for critical roles.
Supporting the implementation of our People & Culture operating model, helping leaders build capability and confidence in managing their people agenda.
Working closely with Employee Relations colleagues to embed our industrial relations strategy and maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives and trade unions.
Translating people insights and workforce data into actionable plans that improve performance and Colleague experience.
Coaching leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, accountability and organisational capability.
Supporting organisational change, transformation and continuous improvement programmes across the business.
What we're looking for
Significant HR Business Partnering or Senior People Partner experience within a complex, unionised operational environment
Strong understanding of workforce productivity, workforce planning and organisation effectiveness.
Experience of talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
Excellent employee relations and industrial relations capability.
Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders while building trusted relationships.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align people strategies with business outcomes.
Experience of leading through change and driving organisational capability.
