Established on 18 June 2025 as an entity for the purpose of undertaking authorised benchmark administration activities aligning with the requirements of the EU Benchmark Regulation (EU BMR). FTSE EU SAS was authorised as a benchmark administrator by the French AMF on 20 November 2025.

Purpose of the role

As a senior manager within the FTSE Compliance Team, you will focus on the EU compliance program and monitoring plan in close partnership with the business. You will perform regular and ad hoc regulatory reporting, provide constructive challenge and regulatory advice ensuring FTSE EU adherence to EU regulations. You will represent FTSE EU Compliance to ESMA and to internal governance committees. Together with business and risk functions you will be part of risk assessments, provide expert knowledge of regulations mainly BMR and ESMA guidance for Benchmark Administrators. You will support the Head of Compliance in building relationships both internally and with regulators. As our business is global, your responsibilities will extend outside the EU.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the provision of compliance program to support FTSE EU and FIL business in managing its compliance risk, this includes providing compliance advice, monitoring adherence to regulatory obligations and internal policies.

  • Leading ongoing relationships with ESMA, including regular and ad hoc regulatory reporting, notifications, and responses to regulatory enquiries.

  • Support FTSE EU CEO, Directors and represent FTSE EU Compliance in both business and governance committees including Risk and Oversight Committees.

  • Provide constructive challenge and oversee activity undertaken by the business to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, frameworks, and policies.

  • Support the delivery of compliance risk assessments, risk appetite statements, policies, procedures, and controls in line with regulatory obligations.

  • Develop expert knowledge and expertise to become the SME for regulations in respect of benchmark and indices and stay ahead of the impact of the latest regulatory developments in that area, effectively acting as a business partner.

  • Support the Head of Compliance FTSE in developing relationships with internal and external interested parties, globally and regionally, including as the primary communications channel between the regulated businesses and their regulators.

What you will bring

  • Experience in benchmark administration, risk, or compliance functions.

  • Practical knowledge of benchmark and indices regulation (BMR, IOSCO) or similar regulations.

  • Experience in regulatory reporting to ESMA, AMF or other EU authorities.

  • Experience in engaging with regulators, issue escalation, and regular or ad-hoc regulatory requests.

  • Experience in Enterprise Risk Management or Data Risk Management Experience

  • Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships at all levels and excellent stakeholder management.

  • Ability to make its own opinions and stand by them.

  • Working as a team in a diverse environment.
