Job Description
EMEA Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a publicly listed global group within the manufacturing sector. We are seeking a hands-on team player to join a lean corporate finance team and operate from the group’s headquarters.
This position will support the Head of Group Accounting & Reporting in the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements, with the opportunity to assist with half-year reporting and year-end closing.
As the role will be focused on tax compliance support, you will ideally have strong experience with international tax and compliance requirements. You'll also support the group companies with transfer pricing methodologies and implementation.
Your duties will require you to actively participate in the internal audit process, so previous experience is advantageous.
We're looking for someone who brings energy and a passion to work as part of a close-knit team where everyone actively participates.
Fluency in both German and English is required.
This role is predominantly office-based.
The main duties of the Senior Corporate Accounting and Tax Specialist are:
Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and reporting according to IFRS
Prepare, analyze and co-ordinate group-wide international tax and compliance requirements
Support with transfer pricing methods and their implementation for group companies
Participate in internal financial audits up to twice a year
Provide support to the local finance teams during tax audits, working in collaboration with external tax advisors
Support the Head of Group Accounting & Reporting in projects and other required tasks
Required skills for the Senior Corporate Accounting and Tax Specialist role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, consolidation, auditing, corporate finance or tax
Strong experience working with IFRS accounting standards
Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements
Professional level English and German language skills
Ability to be hands-on in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong team player, willing to roll up your sleeves and support colleagues as and when required

We act as a neutral third party in the recruitment process, basing our candidate searches on skills and experience.
