Senior AI Platform Engineer

Description and Requirements We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior AI Developer to design, implement, and scale out an Agentic AI platform that streamlines the creation of AI-powered customer solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with AI engineers to deploy and scale AI services across enterprise infrastructures. The position requires a great understanding of AI technologies, excellent developer skills, and the ability to create repeatable solutions. To succeed in this role, you should apply your deep understanding of AI, be hands-on, and be able to integrate AI tools into a cohesive platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions aligned with Lenovo’s strategy and technical standards Design and build AI architectures, inference engines, agents, and user interfaces Deliver end-to-end AI systems using LLMs, SLMs, VLMs, and relevant frameworks Integrate AI solutions into existing platforms, including cloud, on-premise, and edge environments Select and implement AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency and scalability Ensure security standards (encryption, access control, vulnerability management) across AI solutions Apply AIOps and AI development best practices for both experimentation and production Create technical documentation and support pre-sales activities (RFPs, solution design) Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field 2+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, NLP, computer vision, or Generative AI 2+ years of hands-on experience with end-to-end Generative AI solutions (multi-modal preferred) Experience with LLM ecosystems (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Hugging Face, Bedrock) Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies (GPUs, CUDA, TensorRT) is an advantage Strong understanding of cloud and on-prem environments, including Kubernetes/containerization Proven experience with MLOps / LLMOps / AIOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) Strong programming skills in Python, React, and scripting languages What We can offer You: An international team with a high focus on Gender Diversity.​ Employee Assistance Program, e.g., for psychological, legal & financial consultancy​ You are joining a company that prioritizes sustainable solutions like CO2 Offset, Asset Recovery Services, and the Lenovo Certified Refurbished portfolio Access to training for personal development - Internal E-learning Development Platform Available for Employees Mentorship program If you are passionate about AI development and eager to take on a challenging yet rewarding role that makes a real impact, we invite you to connect with us!
