Registered Nurse – Clarence Correctional Centre (Part‑Time)
About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our onsite health team at Clarence Correctional Centre in Lavadia, NSW. This is a part‑time opportunity working 2 days per week , on a rotating roster. An Ideal role for nurses seeking flexibility while working in a unique and rewarding healthcare environment.
You’ll deliver primary healthcare services to a diverse inmate population within modern, purpose‑built health centres. Working in a secure and structured setting, you’ll collaborate closely with correctional and clinical colleagues to provide safe, ethical, and person‑centred care.
Previous experience in corrections or custodial healthcare will be highly regarded, but not essential.
Position Highlights
Part‑time role – 2 days per week
Competitive salary pro‑rata (up to $131,000 FTE)
Uniforms, daily meals, and onsite parking provided
Contribute to rehabilitation and positive health outcomes
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and clinical practice
What You’ll Bring
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate nursing experience
Background in primary health, rural health, emergency, or custodial nursing
Strong commitment to ethical, patient‑centred care
Willingness to complete all required compliance checks
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have valid Australian working rights and reside in Australia.
