It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2800 members, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It also operates a 22-bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday. What you’ll do Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum one-year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care Who we are Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.
