Specialising in Roofline products (such as Rainwater systems and PVC-UE Cellular Foam Fascia, Soffit & Cladding systems), as well as an extensive range of Waste, Soil, Underground Drainage and Hot & Cold plumbing systems. FloPlast is a division of Wienerberger UK & Ireland About the role You will oversee the QC function within the business. You will assist the IMS Quality Manager in applying Quality and R&D strategies and be responsible for managing the QC team. You’ll ensure the implementation of, and adherence to, all Company and factory control procedures to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with a daily unpaid break of 30 minutes. Key Responsibilities and Duties Manage and support the development of the QC team. Train staff on all Quality related topics. Ensure products, raw materials, components, and traded goods meet required quality standards. Lead root‑cause investigations using problem solving tools. Manage the NCR process, including defect handling (rework, reject, accept). Track and analyse KPIs and quality metrics and share findings with Operation’s Team. Maintain close collaboration with Operations Teams. Support manufacturing and engineer teams to ensure quality is designed into processes and products. Drive Continuous improvement initiative to enhance Quality and reduce scrap. Ensure department welfare is maintained by risk assessing tasks and maintaining SOPs. Manage quality related communication with customers. Reporting of all incidents or accidents through the correct channel About you You’ll have a good experience working as part of a quality team in a manufacturing environment, as well as proven experience of managing a team, knowledge of ISO 9001 and working with certified products. You’ll have / be: Technically minded Data driven Excellent communication skills Confident decision maker IT literate Desirable Skills / Experience Qualifications: Lean 6 sigma 5S Internal auditor Worked with SAP Experience in plastics industry About our Benefits Weekly pay.
