Quality Assurance Consultant – Global Claims London, UK The Global Claims Quality Assurance team help AXA XL Claims deliver consistently high standards of service, governance and regulatory compliance across our global business. We are looking for a QA Consultant to support the UK & Lloyd's market. Working closely with claims leaders and colleagues across the global QA team, you will help assess claims performance, identify opportunities for improvement, analyses trends and support initiatives that enhance customer and business outcomes. This role offers a broad view of the claims’ function and provides the opportunity to influence operational excellence, governance and continuous improvement across one of the world's leading specialty insurers. What you’ll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? Conduct quality assurance reviews and thematic assessments across the UK & Lloyd's claims portfolio. Identify trends, risks, strengths and opportunities for improvement, using findings to drive better claims outcomes. Analyze claims data to support decision-making, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with claims teams to provide practical feedback, coaching and guidance. Support compliance with regulatory, Lloyd's and internal requirements. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations and insights to claims leadership and key stakeholders. Share best practice and lessons learned across the global claim’s community. Build effective relationships across Claims, Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit functions. Support claim-related projects and strategic initiatives as required. Contributes to the development and ongoing enhancement of quality assurance processes and methodologies. Finally, and in addition to the above key accountabilities, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require. You will report to the Claims Quality Assurance Manager. What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Experience in insurance or reinsurance claims. ACII qualification or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Good understanding of the Lloyd's and London Market environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights and trends. Experience using Excel and Power BI or similar analytical tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to a range of audiences. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Collaborative approach with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Curious, proactive and committed to continuous learning and improvement. Additional language skills, particularly Spanish or French, would be advantageous.
