As a Qualified Turf Operator based at Parkville – Royal Park North, you’ll help maintain and present high-quality sports fields, cricket wickets and training facilities. Working with our Sports Turf team, you’ll apply your specialist turf maintenance skills across a range of sporting surfaces. You’ll play an important role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality turf operations that support training and competition.
As a Qualified Turf Operator in the Sports Turf team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
Managing routine and specialist sports field maintenance activities
Preparing and maintaining cricket wickets and practice nets
Maintaining AFL, soccer, cricket and other sporting surfaces
Operating and maintaining specialised sports turf equipment
Monitoring turf health and identifying maintenance requirements
Supporting seasonal turf renovation, recovery and irrigation programs

You could be a great fit if you have:
Strong knowledge of sports turf maintenance practices
Experience preparing and maintaining cricket wickets
Experience maintaining AFL, soccer and cricket playing surfaces
A current Driver Licence and relevant turf qualification or equivalent experience
The ability to safely operate specialised turf maintenance equipment
A strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
