This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16-bed low dependency ward 24/7. It provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). This is a permanent part time role working Tuesdays and Wednesdays. What   you ’ ll   do Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount  What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist  Minimum two years’ Post Graduate experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting   Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care  Who we are   Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.    Through our partnership with Bupa, we provide integrated on-base healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ locations.    Interested?
