Established in 1908, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately 8000 members. The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday What you’ll do  Work casual shifts covering planned and unplanned leave Monday to Friday 0700 to 1630 onsite delivering high-quality mental health care to Defence members  Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care. Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount   What you bring  Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist  Minimum two years’ Post Graduate experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting   Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)  Australian Citizenship  required for Baseline Security Clearance Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care  Who we are  Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.   Through our partnership with Bupa, we provide integrated on-base healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ locations.
