Neil Cope Director - Procurement, Supply Chain & Operations [email protected] My Profile See my jobs Job Description Production & Supply Planner Zurich, Switzerland Immediately Available (role is a 12 month contract initially) Fluent German Required Salary: circa CHF100k We have an exciting opportunity for a Production & Supply Planner to join a leading international manufacturing organisation based near Zurich Airport. This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity providing operational support across Production and Supply Planning activities within a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is essential, as the business is looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team and add value from day one. The role offers a hybrid model with 3-4 days per week on-site. Key responsibilities as Production & Supply Planner include: Support daily Production and Supply Planning activities to ensure smooth operational performance Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and key stakeholders to confirm capacity and material availability Monitor inventory, open orders, backlogs, and delivery schedules to ensure continuity of supply Prioritise and manage critical operational topics, ensuring timely resolution of issues Maintain planning data, reporting, and analysis to support decision making Proactively identify risks and provide structured recommendations to minimise operational impact The ideal candidate profile: Experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, or a similar Supply Chain function Strong ability to work independently within fast-moving environments and quickly understand new processes Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel capability and ERP exposure (SAP preferred) Structured, reliable, and solution-focused approach to problem solving Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous Fluent German and English language skills are essential Immediately available or able to start at short notice EMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
