Description and Requirements Position Overview The Procurement AI Technology Enablement expert will lead the digital and AI transformation journey within the Procurement organization. This role combines strategic sourcing expertise with advanced AI and software development capabilities to drive operational excellence, partner ecosystem, contract optimization, and intelligent procurement decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations while identifying procurement pain points and developing AI-powered solutions, agents, and automation tools to improve efficiency, compliance, risk management, and business outcomes. This individual will shape the future procurement operating model through AI innovation. Key Responsibilities Procurement Transformation & AI Strategy Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered procurement applications and intelligent agents Notify procurement process inefficiencies and develop innovative AI-based solutions. Define and execute the procurement AI roadmap aligned with organizational objectives. Promote AI adoption and digital transformation within sourcing and supplier management processes. Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize high-value AI use cases and business opportuniti Strategic Sourcing Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations. Develop category sourcing strategies to optimize cost, delivery, and risk. Conduct market intelligence and supplier capability assessments. Drive continuous cost reduction and value creation initiatives. Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships. Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers. Support contract drafting, review, and lifecycle management. Collaborate with Legal and Business stakeholders on complex contractual matters. Required Qualifications Education / Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 12+ years of relevant experience Procurement Skills Experienced or some level of experience in Procurement domain such as Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Contract Negotiation Technical Skills Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Agents. Experience with AI development frameworks such as: LangChain LangGraph AutoGen CrewAI Semantic Kernel Proficiency in: Python APIs SQL Data Analytics Power Platform Azure AI Services Microsoft Copilot Studio Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and business workflows. Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and agent orchestration.
