Phased Array (AESA) Engineer (m/f/d)

Introduction Lead the design, integration, and evolution of high‑performance AESA radar systems in mission‑critical applications. Tasks In this role, you will define radar operational modes, including mode entry and exit criteria as well as inter‑mode transitions. You design, implement, and test phased‑array beamformers for X‑band and SATCOM applications. You integrate phased‑array AESA systems with wideband SDR transceivers and control both the AESA and transceiver through software‑based interfaces. You integrate software and hardware components, performing debugging and troubleshooting to resolve system‑level issues. You document hardware designs and system architectures and present results to both technical and non‑technical audiences. You participate in requirements definition, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure high‑quality hardware development and system integration. You interface with internal and external customers to address problem reports, deliver resolutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You train and mentor junior software engineers in phased‑array AESA techniques, algorithm development, and engineering best practices, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented team environment.
