Job Description MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Finance Controlling Specialist is responsible for executing core General Ledger (GL) and financial accounting activities while actively supporting financial planning, analysis, and business performance management. This position serves as a key bridge between accounting operations and strategic financial planning, delivering accurate financial insights to drive informed decision-making and improve overall financial efficiency. General Ledger & Month-End Closing Prepare and post recurring journal entries (e.g., accruals, cost allocations, stock devaluation). Manage monthly closing activities including COGS, stock reconciliation, and FX revaluation. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in GL reconciliations and monthly closing packages. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes. Analyze variances between actuals and plan; prepare detailed insights on key performance drivers. Assist in cash flow projections, operating expense analysis, and profitability reviews. Develop and enhance reporting templates to improve visibility of financial performance. Participate in cross-functional discussions to connect accounting insights with operational objectives. Reporting & Process Improvement Prepare management reports on sales, cost structure, and profitability trends. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in financial systems and reporting tools. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring accounting and reporting processes. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP). Job Requirements Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (GL or FP&A experience preferred). Solid understanding of financial statements, accrual accounting, and monthly closing procedures. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling). Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent. (Preferred) Experience in financial planning, forecasting, or business analysis. (Preferred) Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset. (Preferred) Keen interest in connecting accounting operations with strategic financial management. (Preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and attention to detail. (Preferred) Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. How to Apply?
