Mission SUEZ is a major player in environmental services. For almost 160 years, SUEZ has supported local communities and industrial companies in the management of essential services such as water, waste, and air quality. As such, SUEZ produces drinking water for 66 million people worldwide, recovers 2 million tons of secondary raw materials per year, and generates 3.1 TWh of renewable energy from waste. You will join SUEZ Europe, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, and the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the countries where it is currently active (Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy). Additionally, Suez also keeps a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region. SUEZ Poland operates different businesses related to the water and waste treatment: development of new water projects (from the design and build of water treatment plants, to their operation and maintenance), development of Energy from Waste projects, and delivery of smart solutions products, and services to water utilities. We are looking for a candidate who will take full responsibility for overseeing our water investments in Poland. Role and responsibility: Supervision of the operation of two wastewater treatment plants. Monitoring the operational efficiency of the facilities and implementing optimization measures. Responsibility for achieving operational goals as well as quality, environmental, and financial targets. Managing emergency situations and coordinating corrective actions. Leading teams responsible for operations and investments. Ensuring effective cooperation between organizational units. Controlling operational costs. Supervising compliance with Health and Safety (H S), Fire Safety, and environmental protection regulations. Preparing operational reports for the Management Board. The person employed in this position is responsible for: The proper functioning of the entrusted operational facilities, Achieving the set operational and financial results, Employee safety and the continuity of service provision, Compliance of operations with applicable laws and Company standards, Environmental protection and proper operational risk management.
