We’re looking for an Experienced Operations Analyst for Settlement Operations associated with Amazon India Payments Business. The successful candidate will be process driven, with responsibility for delivering top notch customer experience for programs he/she will be part of. He/she must be an effective communicator and have strong ownership values. He/she will be proficient in working with large datasets using data analysis tools like Excel, SQL and other database tools. He/she will have the following responsibilities: .Ensuring every transaction flowing through a high-value escrow account is accurately tracked, monitored, matched, and reported. The analyst bridges the gap between bank records and internal financial systems — across all payment types — resolving every discrepancy before daily close. · Working closely with our partners and internal teams to ensure 100% SLA adherence to Daily BAUs and top-notch customer experience · Regular reporting and proactive updates regarding program health, open issues etc. Key job responsibilities 1. Reconcile Escrow Bank transactions against internal records across multiple payment channels, transaction types, and settlement windows. 2. Process and Categorize incoming and outgoing bank transactions — covering the full spectrum of payment instruments and adjustment types — ensuring each is correctly mapped to the right settlement bucket. 3. Investigate variances, escalate to concerned teams and track them to closure. 4. Reporting of daily and monthly summaries of account movements, settlement positions, and open items to stakeholders. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent - Commerce graduate with 2+ years of experience in reconciliation/accounting/finance and proficiency in MS Excel Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of database systems and SQL Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
