About the role
We are seeking an experienced Night Supervisor to join our team at Hyatt Place Essendon Fields in the vibrant Essendon Fields area. As a Night Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. Your primary focus will be on managing guest accounts and providing exceptional customer service to our guests and uphold Hyatt brand standards during the overnight shift.

What you'll be doing
Performing nightly audit procedures to reconcile financial transactions and guest accounts
Generating and reviewing various financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
Remain flexible and adaptable, assisting across hotel departments including Rooms and Food & Beverage
Handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any inquiries or issues that may arise during the night whilst upholding Hyatt Brand Standards
Monitoring and maintaining hotel security and safety protocols
Assisting with other front office duties as needed, such as answering phones and responding to guest requests
Providing a high level of customer service to all guests throughout the night
Assist with guest and crew transportation arrangements
Work alongside our Night Manager for 3 days a week and 2 days independently

Relevant degree in Hospitality is an advantage
Full Victorian Driver’s License a must
What we're looking for
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Night Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry
Previous experience using OPERA Cloud (essential).
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately reconcile financial records
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively
Proficient in the use of hotel management software and technology
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently during overnight shifts
A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
