It includes the Operational Deployment Force and facilities to undertake mission rehearsal exercises prior to deployment. The facility provides primary medical, underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care to approximately 8000 members. It also operates a 24/7 inpatient low dependency ward. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday What you’ll do Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members  Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care. Undertaking assessments, interventions, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount   What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Credentialing with ACMHN or Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or recognised international equivalent) Minimum two years’ post-graduate mental health experience, including comprehensive assessments and delivery of ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)  Australian Citizenship required  to obtain Baseline Security Clearance Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care  Who we are Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.  Through our partnership with Bupa, we provide integrated on-base healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ locations.
