It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services to the ADF population. This mid-size health centre has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday. What  you’ll  do   Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members   C onducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care . U ndertaking assessments, in tervention s, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount     occasion travel required to go to Waterhen, Penguin & Richmond during working hours in defence Vehicle telehealth not clinical setting, its an office setting Admin/Case Management Position What you bring   Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse One of the following: ACMHN credentialed Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse Minimum two years’ Post RN general registration experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting     Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)   Australian Citizenship  required   to obtain Baseline Security Clearance Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care   Who we are   Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.   Through our partnership with Bupa, we provide integrated on-base healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ locations.   Interested?
