About Enoggera Health Centre
Enoggera Health Centre, located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, is the primary base for this position and supports nearby facilities including Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, Gallipoli Barracks is the largest military base in South Queensland, home to approximately 8,000 members and the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters.
Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role. This full-time position is primarily Monday to Friday (day shifts) and offers the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Casual and part-time 0.4 positions are also available.
What you’ll do
Keep the clinic running smoothly by providing fast, accurate, and professional clerical and administrative support to health staff and patients.
Manage electronic and hard copy health records and data in accordance with Defence policies, privacy requirements, and compliance standards.
Coordinate appointments and liaise effectively with internal and external health service providers to support continuity of care and timely access to patient information.
Prepare reports, update health and personnel management systems, and assist with auditing activities to support operational and compliance requirements.
Support day-to-day clinic operations through filing, mail distribution, photocopying, ordering stationery and stores, and processing supply requests.
What you bring
Minimum of 1 year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in an administrative role. (Medical setting highly desirable)
Completion of a medical terminology course from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or willingness to complete
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Sound computer literacy and experience with electronic health record systems highly regarded.
