You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Materials Officer is responsible to assist with the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials required for the organization's operations. This role involves ensuring the timely availability of materials, maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and managing material handling processes. This role involves ensuring the timely availability of materials, maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and managing material handling processes. Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia. Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Hospitality/Tourism management, or any related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Materials, Purchasing within luxury hotels, or a related role. Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor relations. Good organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
