Our 400‑employee site brings together research and development teams, production workshops, and support functions for two main business areas:
  • Machine Vision Sensors (MVS) for image sensors, dental sensors, and cameras.
  • High-Performance and High-Reliability semiconductor products: microprocessors, memories and high‑speed data converters.

We are hiring a Manufacturing & General Expenses Controller to strengthen our controlling team (4 people). This is an onsite position located in Grenoble.

In a dynamic industrial environment undergoing significant transformation, this role plays a central part in our operations.

The role reports directly to the Head of Controlling. You will contribute to the site’s financial performance by delivering clear and reliable analysis to support decision‑making. Working closely with operational teams and management, you will actively support the continuous improvement of our industrial processes.

What You’ll Do

General expenses
• Lead reporting and cost analysis for general expenses, including monthly variance reviews against budget and forecast.
• Real business partner for Cost center managers,  perform monthly reviews and action plans.
• Validate purchase requests and ensure supporting documentation accuracy.
• Manage monthly closing activities: analytical reclassifications and provisions monitoring.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Ensure internal control reliability and compliance. (SOX)
• On demand ad hoc report & tasks

Manufacturing activities
• SAP costing updates.
• SAP settlement management.
• Analyze industrial variances such as work order variances, overhead absorption, and price variances.
• Support stock obsolescence calculations and scrap campaigns.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis.

What You Need to be successful in this role

• Brings significant financial controlling experience, with about five years in the role and at least two years spent in an industrial environment.• Highly skilled in SAP; experience with SAP HANA is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI familiarity is appreciated.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal stakeholders.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Shows strong reliability and a clear sense of accountability in their work.
