Management Trainee, Chief Accounting & Capital Office

External reporting finance team is involved in producing the financial statements based on the statutory rules and as per the local GAAP/ IFRS requirements on a quarterly basis. The team is also involved in preparation of the various reports and forms as prescribed by the Insurance regulatory authorities of various countries where AXA XL writes its insurance business from on a quarterly and annual basis. The team produces various reports for the regulator to show we maintain sufficient level of solvency and liquidity as prescribed by the regulator. The team prepares various reports as prescribed by corporate close calendar. The team performs data clean ups and prepares various source system & other reconciliations to support various stakeholders and auditors. What you’ll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? Handling of US STAT reporting (State Page, Sch T, Sch P, Sch F etc) and management reporting along with managing both onshore controllers. Prepare, review and analyze quarterly and annual financial statement and related schedules Ensuring a smooth, accurate and timely reporting of annual and quarterly filings, preparation of MD&A and other management reporting tasks. Mentoring and managing the team members, focusing on improving their knowledge and growth. Finding automation and improvement avenues for all the processes Collaborating across multiple teams for improving the current processes and creating synergies Demonstrating detail understanding of insurance accounting concepts Resolving and addressing queries from team members and across multiple teams You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office.
