Linen Assistant - Casual - $29.91 an hour + 20% casual loading + super
Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch WA
Must be available minimum three weekdays, with morning and evening shifts available
Must be available to work minimum three weekdays, 06:00am - 2:00pm for around 5 weeks for training

As a Linen Assistant at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you'll play an important role in helping ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean linen to support patient care. Working as part of the Linen Service team, you'll monitor, distribute and collect clean and used linen across the hospital site, helping maintain stock levels for uninterrupted clinical use. This is a hands-on role where your reliability, customer focus and commitment to safe work practices will help support the smooth operation of hospital services.
As a Linen Assistant, you'll make a positive impact by:
Operating Linen Service equipment to deliver and collect clean and used linen across the hospital
Ensuring buffer stock linen requests are supplied within agreed timeframes and recorded
Monitoring linen stock levels and reporting unusual usage or levels to the Linen Team Leader
Supporting the segregation of unused and soiled linen trolleys for collection by the subcontractor
Providing assistance to clinical staff in a friendly and professional manner
Assisting with linen audits and responding to reactive work orders in line with service standards

Previous experience in a similar customer-focused role within a healthcare or hospitality environment
The ability to maintain quality service while working to time constraints
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
The ability to maintain accurate records and work with subcontractors
