Join Our Team as a Line Shift Lead!
Are you ready to take the next step in your manufacturing career? We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Line Shift Lead with a technical background to lead a high-performing production team in Auckland’s fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a permanent full-time role operating on a stable 2‑2‑3 night‑shift roster. You’ll lead 12.25-hour shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM, working at least 42.88 hours per week.
As a Line Shift Lead for Night Shift, you’ll play a key role in daily operations and champion Integrated Work System (IWS) initiatives. Reporting directly to the Line Lead, you’ll get hands-on experience and the chance to make a real impact.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization
Understanding of IWS or Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles
Familiarity with safety and quality control systems
Ability to coach and develop team members in technical processes
You Will:
Collaborate effectively with technicians and equipment owners to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Lead and coordinate the shift team, ensuring smooth shift handovers and clear communication.
Oversee and manage all aspects of production during your shift to achieve operational targets.
Cultivate a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth among members.
About You

To be successful, you will also have:
Proven commitment to safety, including implementing and supporting safety programs.
Experience in ensuring quality standards and managing incident reporting.
Strong focus on continuous improvement and loss elimination.
Ability to maintain equipment-based conditions and enforce 5S standards.
Effective collaboration across functions and coordination of team activities.
Preferably 3 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably dairy or food.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferable technical background including electrical and mechanical in manufacturing.
Guide and coordinate the team to deliver high-quality, efficient production outcomes.
