Job Description
About This Position:
Manage day-to-day operation of Lexus social media communities, with primary focus on activating on social media channels within the context of broader brand initiatives, campaigns, and programs. This role may support live events, vehicle launches, and real-time social media activations, requiring flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
What You'll Do:
Own daily publishing to Lexus social channels via Dash social and native platform tools
Support Social Media Manager in managing and maintaining the editorial social content calendar
Coordinate content submission, review, and approval processes, ensuring assets, copy, and legal approvals are secured prior to publication
Manage Lexus dealer social content uploads, copywriting, and day-to-day program management
Assist with copywriting for Lexus National social media channels and dealer social media channels
Own Pinterest and YouTube uploads and expired content management
Capture meeting notes and distribute recaps for weekly status meetings and other key project meetings
Manage social ad hoc client and internal requests including campaign, event, and post reporting
Support the compilation of social data for quarterly business review
Monitor and professionally respond to marketing questions asked of the brand across social media channels
Proactively identify and recommend engagement opportunities, trends, and cultural moments that can help strengthen Lexus' relationship with fans and followers
Collaborate with Lexus Social Media Manager and multiple internal Lexus divisions to understand organizational priorities and upcoming content opportunities
Track social media performance metrics and analytics across all of Lexus’ social channels, recommending changes based on results and contributing to quarterly business and ad hoc reports
Stay current on social media trends and emerging platforms, identifying opportunities for Lexus Digital to capitalize on relevant trends
Support Social Media Manager and Account Supervisor in planning and executing event social content
Partner with cross-functional agency teams to strengthen and build social media expertise across the agency
Support campaign and assist Account Supervisor as needed
Qualifications
What You'll Bring: The ideal candidate has professional social media experience, preferably supporting national or high-profile brands. Experience in public relations, publicity, communications, or digital marketing is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in social media and community management. They are naturally proactive, take pride in producing accurate work, and consistently look for opportunities to contribute beyond assigned tasks. This person is curious about culture, consumers, and emerging social trends, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can be trusted to represent a premium brand across social channels. The successful candidate treats every post, comment, and consumer interaction with care and attention to detail, recognizing that they are representing one of the world's leading luxury automotive brands. This individual will possess both an understanding of online consumer behaviors, along with multiple engagement and tracking methods.
Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred
Other skills include but are not limited to:
Exceptional copywriting and written communication skills with strong attention to grammar, tone, and brand voice
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when publishing content on behalf of a major brand
Comfortable working in a real-time environment and adapting to evolving priorities
Takes initiative to identify opportunities, solve problems, contribute new ideas, and proactively support team and client needs
Have a relentless curiosity about consumers and human relationships
Be both a good listener and an able and inspiring communicator
Ability to interpret marketing research data both quantitative and qualitative
Have a balance of creative and analytical thinking
Highest fluency in all social media channels, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, X, and other emerging platforms
Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as required in support of product launches, events, and real-time community management
Strong sense of accountability, follow-through, and personal ownership, with the ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities and consistently deliver high-quality work
Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks
Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task

Compensation Range: USD $40,280.00 - USD $57,008.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
