Overview Responsible for ensuring quality software deployments and overall application health and performance. Optimizes relationships between the development, quality assurance and IT operations teams. Promotes communication, integration, and collaboration for enhanced software development productivity. Develops infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices and improve operational performance. Requires broad technical knowledge and experience across a variety of IT areas, including infrastructure, development, operations, and quality assurance. Overview Performs tasks and contributes to processes/project components for the Digital Application Sustain and Operations area under moderate supervision, ensuring work is aligned to organizational standards, escalating problems and roadblocks as they occur. Responsible for ensuring quality software transition, deployments and overall application health and performance. Responsibilities This job works under moderate supervision to accomplish key tasks for the Digital Application Sustain and Operations area, following best practices and techniques in order to meet organizational standards of excellence. Supports the software deployment process by performing routine testing and troubleshooting throughout the development and deployment processes in accordance to established procedures and guidelines. Assists in troubleshooting application issues under the guidance of more experienced team members. Maintains organized communication logs and documentation related to deployment activities. Conducts basic performance checks on applications and report any anomalies to the team. Assists in the standardized transition management approach of software and products developed internally or by vendors to ensure operational readiness, stability and security risks aspects are minimal to none. Applies deep understanding of area processes to employ area best practices and methods that align with the overall functional and business strategy, supporting team members on solutions, execution and delivery.
