Le poste en détail

You join our Booking & Post Trade Processes team within the IT department Global Markets and Risks, which is looking for a Developer Filtering Tool – Production Alerts, for a 6-month internship from May 2026.

In our information system, many batch processes automatically generate alerts by email. Over time, this volume has exploded, creating a constant 'noise' that leads to email overload, loss of team responsiveness and operational risk.

In this team our mission is to design and deploy an end-to-end solution for a qualitative and intelligent alerting. The objective is to develop a centralized tool that intercepts, analyzes and filters alerts to only transmit relevant information to the right people. As an intern, you will be at the heart of improving the reliability and responsiveness of our production.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

  • Identify the sending batches and map the types of alerts, volumes, formats, and sending frequencies.
  • Identify redundant false positives and alerts with teams.
  • Define the notion of 'relevant alert' (criticality, impact, recurrence), propose a target architecture (alert gateway, scheduler plugin, etc.) and design the rules engine: simple rules (keywords), aggregation (1 alert for 100 identical errors), thresholds.
  • Develop the tool (Java/Spring Boot or Python) with API and configuration base, implement the collection system (SMTP, API, logs, etc.) and create a simple interface (UI or configuration file) to manage rules without redeployment.
  • Test in 'shadow mode' to validate the rules without blocking alerts, measure volume reduction and adjust the rules according to feedback, and industrialize and deploy the solution in active mode on a pilot perimeter.
  • Write the technical documentation and user guide.
  • Train the teams in the use and maintenance of the tool.

For information, our technical stack is:

  • Languages: Java (Spring Boot) / Python
  • Protocols & Messaging: SMTP, REST API
  • Database: SQL
