Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The role is responsible for designing and embedding the Promo management and Trade investments (CDA) capability architecture and global KPIs to enable PepsiCo to deploy an E2E integrated process to maximize profitable growth across PepsiCo, and customers, and delivering more value to consumers and shoppers.
That will involve Promo Management E2E framework development and implementation to ensure promotional investments are aligned with the strategy, KPIs defined and measured on a regular basis, integrated with brand objectives and marketing mix, Sales incentives, Perfect Store and customer negotiations, and implementation drives profitable category growth. As well as developing Trade investments (CDA) framework, focused on the P4P and PepsiCo Big Bets, with a clear measures and governance process to support effective implementation.
The role should deliver a tangible step up in Promo Management and Trade investments (CDA) capabilities across the Org to drive faster category growth in a profitable way.
The role will collaborate across different teams at different levels: Commercial and S&T teams at Global and International levels, OU RGM, Sales and Dx teams.
Your Impact
As International RGM Trade Excellence Director your scope would consist of:
Build an E2E Promo management strategic framework: Blueprint, Playbooks & Best Practice
Build Gold Standard promo management framework.
Define KPIs framework to address strategic, cross-functional and operational targets. Collaborate with Grow Navigator (GN) team to drive GN integration.
Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial to build upstream (marketing mix, brand strategy) and downstream (Perf Store, WCCE, GTM) integration points, selling stories, and KPIs.
Collaborate with ICC to define the Promo management analytics requirements and promo strategy outputs, support the team upskilling.
Build a Trade Investments (CDA) strategic framework
Build Gold Standard Trade Investments (CDA) framework.
Build CDA & Commercial Policy integration: build framework, define P4P and KPIs to measure.
Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to incorporate market archetype, and channel nuances into the strategic CDA framework.
Establish a framework to deliver Promo management and Trade investments (CDA) frameworks, including implementation and value realization
Collaborate with RGM Capability team to drive Promo management and Trade investments (CDA) assessment across International anchor markets.
Lead the contracting with OUs to define the H2-3 RGM capability ambition, priorities and change management plan.
Deliver a streamlined, actionable roadmap detailing the step-by-step strategy, including Playbooks (ICC team) and Digital tools (S&T) delivery.
Establish an implementation plan, specifying resources, timelines, and critical milestones to guide the execution phase.
Establish a governance process to track Promo management fundamentals implementation across International anchor markets.
Define and deliver together with RGM and Commercial capability teams the required Org upskill.
Support OUs with Digital tools adoption and integration as part of E2E strategic frameworks. Consolidate and prioritize RGM feedback from digital deployments integration, to focus Trade Excellence roadmaps on high impact areas.
Lead Promo management and Trade Investments (CDA) best practice sharing
Identify and codify best practices in Promo and CDA management.
Translate best practices into the Gold Standard Promo management and CDA blueprints.
Collaborate with RGM Capability team to drive best practice visibility across International markets.
Incorporate best practices implementation in OUs as a part of the Trade Excellence roadmaps.
Work closely with S&T to impact our digital strategy and ensure digital roadmap integrates functional priorities
Drive adoption and integration of core Promo management tools as a part of the E2E Promo management blueprint.
Define Promo and CDA investments simulation and optimization requirements and priorities with OU RGM and S&T.
Collaborate with Growth channels RGM lead and S&T to define dComm and AFH requirements and priorities.
Collaborate with Dx, WCCE and GTM integration RGM and S&T to define Trade investment (CDA) digital enablers requirements and priorities.
Lead governance processes to ensure that digital tools land efficiently in OU processes.
Qualifications
¿Who Are We Looking For?
12+ years experience preferably in FMCG Sales, Commercial and Finance, Snacks anchor markets experience is an advantage.
5+ years experience in RGM.
Preferably RGM, Sales and Trade marketing experience in a mature Organized Trade environment.
Proven track record of deploying complex transformational projects, including change management and value realization delivery.
Fluency in English.
Excellent story telling and presentation skills.
Ability to articulate complex concepts in clear, simple & logical terms & build compelling presentations & professional communications (in English language).
Strong persuasion and influencing skills – cross-functional and at Senior leadership team level.
Strong leadership and change management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects: Commercial, Business Development, Finance, Insights, Marketing and Innovation etc.
Self-starter: Able to drive progress in an ambiguous environment.
Needs to be an excellent networker with quick ability to know BU and Functional stakeholders to deploy effective capability building.
