Job Description
EMEA Recruitment is working with a market-leading lifestyle brand seeking an Interim Demand Planning Analyst to join its EMEA team in Amsterdam on an initial 6-month contract.
Working at the heart of the S&OP process, you'll turn complex data into actionable insights while driving reporting improvements, automation, and smarter planning through modern analytical tools.
Responsibilities of the Interim Demand Planning Analyst:
Lead regional Demand Planning activities, preparing S&OP reviews and delivering insights on forecast performance, risks, and opportunities
Analyse and validate demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with product lifecycle plans and implementing forecast adjustments where required
Produce and enhance Demand Planning reporting using Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, translating complex data into clear business insights
Maintain accurate demand planning data within SAP IBP and SAP ECC, ensuring high levels of data quality
Drive process improvements by automating reporting and analysis using Microsoft Copilot and other digital tools
Coordinate operational demand requests with Sales, Supply Planning, and Product teams, balancing commercial opportunities with supply constraints
Candidate profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline
At least 3 years' experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or Supply Chain Planning within an international environment
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint knowledge; experience with Microsoft Copilot or AI tools is advantageous
Hands-on experience with SAP IBP, SAP ECC/S/4HANA, or other Advanced Planning Systems
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with product lifecycle planning (NPI/EOL) and a keen interest in next-generation demand planning is beneficial
