As the Absence Management Specialist, you will own and manage all sick leave, reintegration, prevention and well-being processes across multiple locations. Responsibilities of Absence Management Specialist Act as the subject-matter expert for Dutch illness legislation and internal absence protocols, ensuring full compliance, accurate documentation and timely case management in a highly regulated environment Manage the full lifecycle of absence cases across retail, corporate and distribution center populations, coach and advise line managers, and lead sensitive absenteeism discussions with employees A key part of the role is driving reintegration in line with Wet verbetering Poortwachter, including coordination with occupational health providers/company doctors, maintaining Plans of Approach, and ensuring milestones are met through short- and long-term absence (up to 104 weeks).
