To strengthen our team in Fraser Valley, we are looking for: Maintenance Power Engineer ( Chilliwack,Canada ) Your Mission Reporting to Maintenance Manager you will be responsible to ensure company assets, including boilers, production equipment, and facilities, are well maintained and operating in a safe mechanical manner. This role supports the reduction of production downtime through effective troubleshooting, implementation of preventive maintenance programs, and reliable operation of plant systems. What you will do Support development and maintenance of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment Coordinate external contractors for repairs when required Enter maintenance data into PMXPERT (work orders, traceability) Operate and repair processing, filling, packaging, and water treatment equipment Collaboration & Plant Support Maintain accurate maintenance records Promote and enforce Safe wok practices Assist in Heath and safety program implementation Monitor and prevent unsafe practices Support continuous improvement initiatives Recommend process improvements and efficiency gains Identify and implement cost-saving ideas What we expect from you Prior Experience in maintenance and or technician role Minimum class 5 power engineering Physically capable of maintenance work Strong organizational and decision-making skills Strong communication skills Technical knowledge of PMXPERT, PLC, and equipment Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability Team-oriented mindset Strong organization and time management Safety-focused approach What you can expect from Puratos Starting Hourly rate of $40.12 and increases as per CBA Vacation starts at 4% Company Matching RRSP Extended health benefits Dental Coverage Life and AD&D coverage Growth opportunities, personal development support We are a warm family company with a historical growth track record and a clear long-term vision for the future.
