Industrial Designer

Description and Requirements Key Responsibilities Propose innovative product design concepts for notebook PCs, tablets, and future device experiences Understand user and business needs and translate them into design concepts and design directions Explore and develop ideas through sketching, visualization, prototyping, and design studies Create compelling design stories and presentation materials to communicate design concepts effectively Develop mock-ups, 3D models, and CG renderings to visualize and evaluate design concepts Collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, product planners, marketing teams, and other stakeholders Participate in the design process from early-stage concept development through product commercialization Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a comparable portfolio demonstrating equivalent experience Experience translating user and business needs into design concepts and proposals Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward Preferred Qualifications Experience in hardware product development Experience leading design projects or design activities Experience collaborating with global and/or cross-functional teams Strong presentation and communication skills Experience developing PCs, tablets, consumer electronics, or other hardware products
