Outline of the Position:Support frontline team of Relationship Managers by providing advice to clients, interact with RMs and clients alike in order to review portfolios, execute clients’ orders, prepare and implement portfolio proposalsEnsure compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements and conduct the business in a professional mannerMeet the requirements in order to become and remain licensed for Type 1 and 4 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (“SFO”). Geographic coverage: North AsiaReach personal and team targets: financial (revenue), NNA, CAIS and MIS products and solutions penetration Key Responsibilities:Investment Advisor - Support acquisition of AUM/Increase revenues at IWM HKGet familiar with IWM investment methodology for security selection/asset allocationEducate Relationship Managers (“RM”) and IWM colleagues on the full sets of MIS products. Conduct ad-hoc internal trainings.Provide RMs and Clients with MIS capabilities presentations and performance updatesPerform portfolio reviews with RMs and clientsPrepare portfolio proposals for existing and prospective clientsPro-actively interact with clients, providing them with advice and trade ideas and execute transactionsTarget maximum client retention and acquisition of assets via constant communication with clients/RMsMonitor large client’s positions/portfolios and advise adjustments if neededMonitor product penetration per asset class and formulate strategies and ideas to increase total penetration of MIS products & solutionsActively brainstorm with various stakeholders to develop new products/strategies for clientsProducts under his care: the entire spectrum of investment products within MISRespond to clients’ reverse enquiries and keep a proper audit trail of recommendations made and investment rationaleAchieve clients’ specified financial goals for tagged accountsManage clients’ expectation and to lead them to implement strategies that fit into their own financial goalsResearch/AdvisoryBe an expert and follow closely on market developments globally (all products)Produce high quality regular market updates and trade ideas to RM’s and clients, with help from IA, specialist team and the Head of Advisory Solutions
