Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam is seeking a passionate, people-focused, and results-driven Hotel Manager to support the General Manager in leading the hotel’s day-to-day operations and bringing the Hyatt purpose of care to life through exceptional guest and colleague experiences. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Committee, the Hotel Manager will provide operational leadership across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services, ensuring seamless operations, elevated service standards, and memorable experiences that reflect the Hyatt Regency brand promise. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, maximizing financial performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, continuous learning, and colleague engagement. Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, preferably within luxury or upscale international hospitality brands. Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-functional teams while fostering a culture aligned with Hyatt’s values of empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing. Strong operational and financial acumen with experience driving guest satisfaction, revenue performance, productivity, and quality standards. Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional guest experiences through service excellence and attention to detail. An engaging and approachable leadership style with excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills. Passion for developing talent, empowering colleagues, and creating an environment where people can thrive. Experience working closely with a General Manager to execute business strategies, achieve operational goals, and deliver sustainable results. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
