Job Description
EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a leading international organization to appoint a Global HR Partner , based in Madrid, Spain.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative Global HR team, supporting employees across multiple international locations with primary responsibility for the Spanish population.
Acting as a trusted HR partner, you will deliver a broad range of operational and advisory HR support while contributing to global people initiatives and HR projects.
This is a varied role covering the full employee lifecycle, HR operations, talent management, employee relations, and recruitment, alongside supporting global HR transformation initiatives and ensuring an excellent workplace experience within the Spain office.
Key responsibilities of the Global HR Partner:
Partner with managers and employees to deliver end-to-end HR support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and the wider employee lifecycle
Support global HR initiatives, including HR systems, process improvements, organizational design, and change projects across multiple international locations
Ensure HR policies, processes, and documentation comply with local legislation and company standards while maintaining efficient HR operations
Facilitate talent management activities, including performance reviews, succession planning, and development initiatives, working closely with business leaders
Oversee workplace and facilities management for the Spain office, helping to create a positive and engaging employee experience
The ideal candidate profile:
Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role within an international or matrix organization
Strong knowledge of Spanish employment legislation and experience managing employee relations and operational HR activities
Experience supporting HR projects, systems implementations, or organizational change initiatives would be advantageous
Confident building relationships with managers and stakeholders across multiple locations, with excellent communication and organizational skills
Fluent in both English and Spanish is essential; additional European languages would be an advantage
