Achieve quality metrics and productivity goals dailyDeliver a full suite of accredited MHE training (basic & refresher) to include all fleet on siteAssist with all aspects of the operational training needs of the businessEnsure the relevant authorisation to operate is in place for all traineesEnsure SOPs are up to date and contain relevant information and processes in accordance with current work processesManage and control the training matrix for all colleaguesArchive and upload online all relevant documents from training sessionsLead on the local operations and MHE assessment and training programmes, engaging with the workforce on on-going improvement trainingSupport the Management team with the implementation of operation and MHE training, policies and proceduresCreate training plans to ensure all permanent, temporary and agency colleagues are refresher trained within appropriate timelinesCoordinate with Managers and or Team Leaders to organise training schedules in line with operational requirementsOperate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following defined SOP procedures and ensuring trainee are familiar with those SOPs as part of the trainingMaintain all MHE and MHE safety equipment onsite ensuring battery levels are at the optimum levels and perform regular audits on safety equipment operator complianceLead employees to create a culture which encourages safe behaviour and environmental best practiceDrive a safety culture whereby each team member operates with safety as the primary concern, and whereby safety challenges to colleagues are encouraged and developedEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessaryMonitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure competency in all areas of warehouse managementDuties when not training or working on any additional duties provided by line manager are as below:Assist in the loading and unloading of deliveries/shipments, demonstrating best practices for efficiency and safetyProcess, put away goods, pick and pack goods in a timely mannerProactively communicate with Managers about daily activities and obstaclesReport any damage or missing goods to the warehouse management teamProcess AdherenceFollow workplace Health and Safety rules when handling goods and report Hazards/IncidentsKeep a clean and safe environment and optimise space utilisationFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsMaintain high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times
