First utilised as a mobilisation and training area during WWI, it was formally established in the early 1940s. Today, it is home to the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Training Centre, the Army Knowledge Centre, and the Schools of Artillery and Transport. The health centre services up to 4,000 Defence members and provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental, pharmaceutical & mental health care. RN led 12-bed low dependency ward operating 24/7. Standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday to Friday. Weekday & weekend on-call shifts equally shared. What you’ll do Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum 2 years’ GP experience in the last 5 years in a GP Setting (GPT counts) CPR certification (HLTAID009) within last 12 months Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care Who we are Serco supports more than 12,000 professionals across Asia Pacific, delivering essential services in defence, health, justice, and beyond.
