About the Finance team:
- The Finance Team is spread between Lyon & Paris.
- Your direct manager will be Mathieu our CFO. You’ll also be working closely with VP Finance from Fatton, Lyseo & OVRSEA.
The role 🤝
As FP&A Manager at OVRSEA, you will face exciting and strategic challenges, including:
- Shaping our Growth Trajectory for 2026 and beyond by navigating global economic uncertainties and the dynamic freight market.
- Supporting the company’s international expansion, ensuring our financial planning adapts seamlessly to new and emerging markets.
- Leveraging Pigment, our state-of-the-art FP&A tool, to create a unified and data-driven predictive analysis process across teams.
- Establishing agile recruitment forecasting processes that align with market trends and team performance, in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and HR teams.
What will you do? 🦸
In this role, you will oversee critical aspects of financial planning and analysis, such as:
- Leading the design and execution of the company's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend forecasting, and profitability assessments to inform decision-making.
- Collaborating with managers across functions to gather insights, challenge assumptions, and incorporate them into cohesive financial plans.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and business performance monitoring.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement in operational and financial metrics.
- Leading process improvement initiatives for forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
