Engineering Coordinator

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Coordinator to join our Engineering team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service. Key Accountabilities: Handle and coordinate the office administration functions according to the instructions of the Director of Engineering and established policies and procedures Provides secretarial support to Director of Engineering and extends support to the team Handles and screens incoming phone calls and takes messages Receives and dispatches correspondences Keeps filing system in good order and up-to-date Relays R&M orders from other departments Prepares monthly utilities reports for submission to management of the Hotel Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Engineering as well as with own initiative Adheres to all house rules, fire regulations, departmental policies and procedures General Requirements: 2 years of coordination experience in a luxury property ideal Knowledge of Microsoft systems and engineering preferred Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills Excellent command of written and spoken English Benefits We Offer: 10 vacation days per year 5 Chicago Paid Leave Days per year 5 Chicago Paid Sick Leave Days per year 9 holiday days per year Complimentary employee meals Discounted parking Discounted and complimentary room nights at The Peninsula Hotels 50% restaurant discount 50% discount on spa services 25% discount on spa retail 80% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage Complimentary life insurance Complimentary long-term disability Retirement plan with 5% company match We are delighted to receive your resume for further consideration.
