Job Description:

Main activities & responsibilities

The jobholder will:

Actively contribute with other PPS2 team members to the management of the E2E Airbus Procurement Process (A213x) for the A320neo PW1100G-JM Engine and Collins Nacelles & Engine Mounts perimeter,

Manage the Procurement activities for the A320-family Pratt & Whitney/Collins Nacelles account and as such will play a crucial role in the  ramp-up of our company - specifically: 

  • Delivery: Ensures On Time, Cost and Quality delivery of the Propulsion  System (specifically the nacelles) to the final customer via the delivery to  FALs/Flight Lines/Airbus Delivery Centers; 

  • Contracts: Manages the contract and drives commercial negotiations;

  • Orders: Issues non-standard, support standard POs in line with customers’  selection of engines/nacelles (long-term) and industrial planning for aircraft  deliveries (date, price, configuration).

Outputs

The jobholder will contribute to the following activities:

Run Collins Nacelles-specific Procurement operations: 

  • Cross-Functional alignment: Coordinate across Airbus Functions (Program, FALs, St Eloi site, Delivery Centres, Quality & Supply chain, Engineering,  Commercial…) to ensure one voice to the supplier (Collins Nacelles);

 

  • Delivery:  

    • Reallocations (late supplier deliveries or unexpected events), 

    • FAL damages, trolley management, FAL-related claims, 

    • Cost of Non-Quality reporting / SAM, 

    • Continuous support to FALs, a/c delivery / ADC / POPB, 

    • Quality gate acceptance process (RED), 

    • Ensure On Time Delivery management, 

    • Manage PSPMs, short-term industrial strategy, 

    • Focal point for Tianjin, 

    • Ensure update of nacelle configuration; 

- Contracts: 

  • Ensure the strict application of the contract (externally and internally)

  • Perform the contractual financial activities into SAP and communicate  to the supplier (ie financial contribution, reconciliation, etc...) 

  • Lead supplier negotiations for operational perimeter, 

  • Help prepare, formalize amendments, side letters, 

  • manage claims/changes and define commercial negotiation tactics, 

  • compliance control (in close link with the LSCQM (POPS)) of supplier  commitments (podding leadtime capacity, non-quality reduction, etc.);

  • Demand & Ordering:

    • Demand management (Ensure Long & Short term visibility). Support mid-term view via SPM/Flex,

    • PO management.

      • Place POs for non-standard purchases,

      • Manage dates, Request for Feasibility/Change inside Leadtime,

      • Interface with Ordering Team (PPY),

      • Ensure on-time payments and invoicing,

    • Inventory optimisation;

    • Paint process focal point for Collins;

  • Communication

    • Ensure proper supplier communication - draft letters,

    • Handle administrative impacts linked to nacelle-specific

    • issues/reallocations,

    • Contribute to team reporting and update databases.
