You’ll coordinate emergency preparedness activities, deliver engaging staff training, and support the continuous improvement of emergency management systems and processes. Working closely with stakeholders across the hospital, you’ll help create a safe, responsive and resilient environment for employees, patients and visitors. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while collaborating with a highly supportive and purpose-driven team. As an Emergency Management Advisor in the SIMS team, you’ll make a positive impact by: Coordinating emergency management operations and disaster preparedness activities Delivering emergency response education and training across hospital teams Developing and reviewing emergency management plans, procedures and policies Conducting audits, drills and emergency exercises to support hospital readiness Managing emergency equipment maintenance and resource preparedness Engaging stakeholders to support compliance, training and continuous improvement. Serco is a place for you You could be a great fit if you have: Experience in emergency management, emergency services or incident response environments Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders Confidence delivering training and translating technical information clearly Knowledge of emergency preparedness planning and recovery processes Experience conducting audits, coordinating exercises or managing emergency resources Desirable qualifications include a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, auditing qualifications and experience, a Diploma in Public Safety or Emergency Management (or equivalent experience).
