Director of Sales About Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars About Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located next to Blackfriars Station in the heart of the City of London, within walking distance of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and the South Bank. This Grade II listed five-star hotel stands on the historic site of King Henry VIII’s Bridewell Palace and features 205 stylish guestrooms and suites along with versatile meeting and event spaces. Dining experiences include NYnLON , a sophisticated yet relaxed bistro bringing the flavours of New York dining culture to London with East Coast classics and seasonal produce, and Leaf and Cane, a vibrant late night bar with live sports screenings, karaoke nights, a dynamic calendar of social events, premium beers and a lively social atmosphere. Duties and responsibilities related to the Director of Sales role Create and implement the Hotel Sales Strategy to achieve forecasted and budgeted revenues. Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly revenue forecasting. Manage and develop the Sales team, setting clear objectives and driving performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through direct sales, trade events, and networking. Ensure all sales proposals, contracts, and communications comply with brand standards and hotel policies. Review room and event space inventory and implement strategies to maximise revenue opportunities. Collaborate with Revenue, Operations, and other departments to drive commercial performance. Monitor sales activity and market trends, adapting strategies to achieve business goals. Maintain departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. Foster a high-performing sales culture through coaching, training, and leadership. About you You are an accomplished sales leader with significant experience in hotel sales, ideally within a luxury or five-star environment. You have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing strong client relationships, and leading high-performing teams.
