About the Unit Yara has an ambitious strategic agenda to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is taking lead in the development towards sustainable agriculture and digital tools, to contribute to solving the challenges which the agricultural industry is facing globally. The Farming Solutions function, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offering and the way we work. Crop and Digital Solutions is responsible developing and scaling new “on-farm” digital and integrated tools and solutions, which will work toward driving a more efficient and transparent food system. The Technical Architect role designs and implements scalable, secure and high-performance Salesforce architecture, bridging business needs with technical reality. The successful candidate will define technical roadmaps, lead complex integrations, manage data models and govern development standards, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable and aligned with our digital commercial goals. Responsibilities Design technical solutions: Create detailed architectural blueprints, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and integrated with existing systems. Ensure alignment with business goals: Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Oversee implementation: Guide development teams through the implementation process, Communicate with stakeholders: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in understandable terms. Acts as the authority and strategic advisor for the commercial solution digital platforms within the Enterprise Architecture governance body. This role ensures all digital commercial activities align with overall enterprise standards, business strategies, and cross-functional technology roadmaps. Manage project constraints: Identify and manage risks, budget limitations, timelines, and resource allocation Technical Leadership: Leading development teams, mentoring developers/consultants, and performing code reviews. Fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Integration & Security: Designing secure integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems Governance & DevOps: Defining coding standards, managing CI/CD pipelines, and overseeing release management to minimize technical debt. Profile Degree level, preferably Masters within Business Administration/ Engineering / Computer Science Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience of which 3 years need to be as an IT Architect. Experience in Agile processes and Agile frameworks like SAFe. Experience / certification with Salesforce is essential experience with other digital commercial tools is advantageous. Strong analytical skills combined with good level of communication and training skills. Strong understanding of CRM systems and best practices. Excellent project managementl, analytical and organizational skills.
