It includes the Operational Deployment Force and facilities to undertake mission rehearsal exercises prior to deployment. The facility provides primary medical, underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care to approximately 8000 members. It also operates a 24/7 inpatient low dependency ward. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday What you’ll do Work Monday and Thursday providing oral hygiene treatments and preventive dental care to patients Deliver tailored oral health education and advice to support wellbeing Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Support infection control, sterilisation, and hygiene protocols Collaborate with dental and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe care Ensure compliance with Defence policies and clinical standards What you bring Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Therapist Minimum 2 years’ recent clinical experience in dental hygiene Ability to work both independently and within a supportive team Strong communication skills with a caring, patient-focused approach Commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standards Australian Citizenship to obtain Baseline Security Clearance Who we are Serco supports governments by delivering essential services across defence, health, justice, maritime and community services.
