Short Intro and About the Job J oin the Alpro Kettering Engineering Team We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Day Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at Alpro's Kettering manufacturing site, where we produce plant-based food and drink products. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving our state-of-the-art production equipment, ensuring reliability, efficiency, safety and product quality across the site. What You'll Be Doing: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities Responding to equipment breakdowns and restoring production quickly and safely Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Supporting continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis activities Assisting with equipment modifications and installation projects Completing maintenance records and updates through SAP Driving high housekeeping, safety and engineering standards About You What We're Looking For: Time-served and qualified maintenance engineer NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification Multi-skilled engineer preferred (electrical or mechanical background considered) Electrical engineers with 18th Edition qualification are desirable Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally food, FMCG or packaging Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, automation and control systems Good IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills About Us, We offer and What's next What We Offer: Competitive salary Company pension Private healthcare Income protection Ongoing technical and professional development Modern manufacturing environment Supportive and collaborative engineering team What We Offer: Competitive salary Company pension Private healthcare Income protection Ongoing technical and professional development Modern manufacturing environment Supportive and collaborative engineering team Why Join Alpro?
