It's import and export work, but it's also so much more than we imagine. ‎ We are looking for a Customs Business Process Specialist to join our team and drive the continuous improvement of our customs operations. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational teams, contributing directly to efficiency and performance across our customs activities. How you create impact Design, standardize, and continuously improve customs processes to enhance efficiency and compliance Analyze existing workflows and identify optimization opportunities across import, export, and transit activities Support operational teams in achieving productivity and performance targets Ensure full compliance with local and international customs regulations and keep processes up to date Drive the implementation of digital tools and automation Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Lead projects related to process improvement, system implementation, and innovation What we would like you to bring Proven experience in customs operations, brokerage, or business process management Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements Experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, or project management Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross-functional environment Affinity with digital tools and customs systems (e.g. Cargowise or similar) Fluent in Dutch and English Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset What's in it for you Kuehne+Nagel offers a wide range of attractive employee benefits designed to support your well‑being, development, and long-term career growth.
