Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The role is focused on managing accounting and reporting, analysis, business and process support as well as delivering real time of the RTR process, complying with the SLA's of services, policies and procedures PI, USGAAP, Financial regulations and SOX within a customer focused environment.Manage the financial positions/ tasks which are outside of SSC responsibilities, and proactively propose solutions for process improvements.
The role entails interaction with the GBS/GBS Control Teams, Business Units’ control teams and outsourced delivery teams
Your Impact
Act as owner for the Control Calendar re. SC and CS&L close activities in liaison with 3rd party SSC and other departments and (actively) support the accerelated MEC and simplification & automation initiatives to (further) optimize the MEC.
Own the below GL balance positions and ensure proper execution/approval of (monthly) BS reconciliations in Blackline prepared by SSC. Where needed liaise with different stakeholders to review and follow up SC related topics like:1. Freight, storage and distribution2. Copackers financials (fees, losses, etc…)3. Inventories at 3PL (differences, breakage, …)4. Masked prices5. Inventory reserves
Coordinate the team: - Provide coaching / mentoring to the team. - KPI's monitoring and monthly presentation. - Foster a Culture of continues improvement. - Close interaction with OU to foment networking and service. - Support effective change management process
Achieve AOP - cost per transaction.
Support LATAM GBS Control RTR Director to drive People Strategy and Core People Processes.
Contribute to improve and maintain a healthy organizational climate (OHS)
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education
Financial technical skills achieved through experience or accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Work experience 8+ years of proven experience in a similar position is a must
SAP knowledge;
Knowledge of US GAAP and / or Local GAAP
Bilingual (Spanish/English). 90% English (writing, reading, conversation). Dutch is a plus.
