ROLE OVERVIEW

The Coach Manager supports the store’s commercial performance by leading and developing the sales team. The role focuses on driving sales results, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting team development.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Set clear performance goals and expectations for team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, providing regular feedback to the Store Manager.
  • Supervise and coordinate the team during match days and peak traffic periods.

Sales Strategy and Performance

  • Work closely with Store Management to develop sales strategies and targets.
  • Implement and oversee sales action plans to achieve and exceed store targets.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Actively contribute to sales by delivering excellent customer service.
  • Meet or exceed company targets across all individual KPIs.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure the team delivers outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Handle escalated customer issues professionally and effectively.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset across the team.

Training and Development

  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
  • Organize sales meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Identify individual training needs and support team members’ professional growth.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

  • Maintain accurate sales records and performance reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to Store Management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability when required.

Sales Support

  • Support team members during complex sales situations or challenging customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store.
  • Perform any additional duties as required by management.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Successful track record of retail management experience with proven track record of achieving target, maximising sales and growth
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced high pressured environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally, and also with external partners
  • Experience of effective allocation of resource
  • The ability to manage with autonomy
  • Experience of effective people management, development and succession planning
  • Evidence of great merchandising skills
